Playa del Inglés's Description
Together with Maspalomas, this is the main tourist beach in the south of the island. It has a large promenade full of restaurants, terraces and shops. Although the beach is not dangerous, it is recommended that you do not swim out too far and that danger for swimming flags be strictly obeyed.
How to get there: From the GC-I, take the exit for Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas. Follow the road to the urban area as indicated. Although almost all the avenues bring you close to the beach, it is easiest to enter via Avenida de Tirajana, near kilometre 55 of the C-812. Continue until you reach the second roundabout, turn 270 degrees before taking the right exit and continue straight on until you reach the beach. If travelling by bus, you can take lines 01, 05, 90, 61, 25, 39, 32 and 86. If you are coming from another part of the south of the island, such as San Agustín, Las Burras or Maspalomas, you can reach the beach directly following the C-812 and entering at kilometre 55 of the C-812.
